LEARNING

Our Philosophy

Early experiences provide the foundation for growth and development of children. Therefore, A+ Childcare & Learning Center engages children in activities that encourage exploration and understanding of the world around them. The A+ child is nurtured in a supportive environment where love and respect are shown for both parents and children. We bridge the gap from home to school by helping children develop a positive self-image, while building social, physical, and cognitive skills.

A+ Learning Experience

The Pinnacle Curriculum™ used at A+ Childcare & Learning Center combines the best philosophies of early childhood education with developmentally appropriate practices recommended by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The curriculum supports a well-rounded learning environment to stimulate children’s growth in all developmental areas.

Parents receive reports twice a year to let them know how their child is progressing academically and developmentally in our program. Pre-kindergarten children build portfolios demonstrating advancements made during the school year in writing, drawing and other skills. These portfolios are a great source of pride for the children, and a wonderful keepsake for parents!
